The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change called on all residents to cooperate with it and preserve and protect Qatar's environment, stressing that it will take the necessary legal measures against violators.
In a statement on Monday, the ministry said that the patrols of its Protection and Wildlife Department managed recently to seize 15 violations of the decision to ban grazing, noting that the necessary legal action will be taken against environmental violations.
The Ministry stated that environmental monitoring patrols work around the clock to preserve the Qatari environment, and are deployed in various regions of the country to protect meadows and reserves from environmental encroachments and violations.
The Ministry called for reporting any violation in this regard by contacting the unified call centre No. 184, and stressed the need to comply with Law No. 32 of 1995 preventing damage to plant ecology and ecosystems.
