In a tweet, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that they had carried out an extensive inspection campaign in January and February on several vegetables and fruits stores across Qatar. The inspection resulted in issuing 108 violations including: non-compliance or failure to display the mandatory price bulletin, and missing product information.
The ministry had inspected a total of 299 shops from all over the country. As illustrated by the ministry, 50% of the violations given were due to failure to announce the mandatory bulletin prices.
