The Ministry of Municipality announced via a tweet on 30 April 2023 that legal action has been taken against warehouses operating without licenses in the areas of Najma and Fereej Abdulaziz.

The perpetrators had been using the parking lots of residential buildings as a space to manufacture gypsum and as a plastic store.

A total of five unlicensed warehouses were found in the basement of residential buildings.

Legal action has been taken against the violators and has been referred to the competent authorities.
