The Ministry of Interior tweeted on 30 June 2022, the launch of the new 'Drug Enforcement Service' on the Metrash2 application.

The service allows the public to report any suspicious drug cases and to directly communicate with the administration. Thus, promoting social responsibility towards the cause of drug prevention.

The launch of the service was in line with occasion of the International Anti-Drug Day.

The ministry also mentioned that the launch of the service comes as part of the efforts made by the General Department of Narcotics Control and the Ministry of Interior to raise awareness of the problem of drugs and its negative effects. Furthermore, it is to raise awareness in the ways to prevent and protect the society from its dangers.
