The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) announced on its official Twitter account on Sunday, 12 March 2023, the discounted consumer goods initiative from today until the end of the holy month.

As per MOCI, more than 900 goods are being offered at discounted prices in coordination with major sales outlets in the country.

The Ministry has launched this initiative to help reduce the burden on community members by assisting in the prices of the most important food and consumer needs of families.

The list of discounted consumer goods includes all the basic commodities that the consumer needs during the holy month, such as honey, sugar, coffee and its products, dates, pastries and pasta, rice, frozen vegetables, poultry products, eggs, meat products, tomato paste, tea, mineral water, aluminium foil, tissue paper, washing powder, personal and household cleaners, trash bags, and more.
