In a tweet, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has announced the closure of 2 plant nurseries in Umm Al-Amad for 15 days, for practising commercial activity without having the required licensing.

As per the Ministry, the measure comes as part of its efforts to monitor and regulate markets and commercial activities across Qatar and to assess compliance with laws and regulations governing commercial activities, in a bid to uncover and crackdown on violations.
