The General Directorate of Traffic announced in a tweet on 22 February 2023 that all cars registered under limousine companies will need to get new license plates.

The new license plate will be a dedicated 'Limousine' license, and the decision takes effect as of 22 February 2023.
As per the new regulation, all cars will be made to replace their existing license plates at the time of vehicle permit renewal.
The Ministry also announced on 26 February 2023 that new vehicles belonging to limousine companies will be registered with the number plate 'Limo'. The companies should replace their current plates with the new 'Limo' plates when renewing their vehicle licenses.
