The new human resources law, which came into effect this month, is a quantum leap in the field of human resources management, an official said. HE Sheikh Nasser bin Mohamed bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, noted that the Human Resources law aims at benefitting from the national human resources in line with Qatar’s strategic plan. He was speaking at a press conference held yesterday for highlighting the provisions of the Human Resources law No 8 of 2009 issued by the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on April 4. The law also addresses the disparities and differences that existed earlier among various public institutions by reviewing and restructuring clerical scales. “The law will preserve the interests of both the institutions and the employees,” said the minister. http://thepeninsulaqatar.com/Display_news.asp?section=Local_News&subsection=Qatar+News&month=April2009&file=Local_News2009041322141.xml
