McDonald’s Qatar reaches out to children at different institutions

As part of its CSR program, McDonald’s Qatar staff and management recently spent their time lifting the spirits of the children and students with special needs under the care of different institutions. It is McDonald’s Qatar commitment to champion different local philanthropic initiatives and has been strongly linked to several societal deeds and communal outreach programs in Qatar.

The children were treated and entertained with different engaging activities and special programs prepared by McDonald’s team. Staff served healthy food, and provided gifts and giveaways for everyone. This gave the children something to smile about as they played and danced together with McDonald’s famous characters.

Mr. Kamal Saleh AlMana, Managing Director of AlMana Restaurants & Food Co., the owner and operator of McDonald’s restaurants in Qatar said: “It is a pleasure to fulfill our commitment to touch as many people lives as possible, specially the people who need our utmost care and attention. We’re glad to have made these children happy in an event that engraved an unforgettable moment and made them feel special. Bringing fun, joy and happiness to the hearts and souls of these kids during this fun-filled event is exactly what McDonald’s wants to support throughout the year”.

This initiative is part of the continuous series of McDonald’s Qatar CSR activities organize within the year which aim to bring positive change to the people with special needs and to provide an engaging environment to support their development and boost their self-confidence.
