Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha partners with the Eid Charity Foundation and AlWehda Medical Group to bring ‘Ramadan’s Smile’ to the families and orphans within Qatar. Breaking their fast together, a sense of celebration and sharing could be felt throughout the hall.

The Iftar took place at the Eid Charity Head Quarters on Tuesday 30 May 2017, where Marsa Malaz Kempinski provided a flavoursome selection of dishes with an array of cuisines to suit the multi-cultural guests. More than 20 members of the Marsa Malaz Kempinski team volunteered to take part by means of interacting with the children and serving the invited guests. The gathering strengthened the bonds between the invited orphans and audience through educational and interactive activities which were executed by the volunteers in a friendly atmosphere. The idea behind ‘Ramadan’s Smile’ was not only to bring together this incredible group of people, but to also educate them about the importance of healthy eating and living especially during Ramadan.

Wissam Suleiman, Cluster General Manager said: “Being a family man myself, I know the importance of gathering with loved ones. It was an honour to be able to be part of such an incredible event especially during this holy month, where the importance of celebration, togetherness and sharing is emphasised.”
