The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) will close Markhia Street partially. The one lane from Jubailiat roundabout near to Dahl Al Hamam roundabout will be closed with effect from Tuesday up to a period of one month. Ashghal, however, assured safe and smooth traffic flow through the rerouted lines through out the closure and reopening of the street after the confined period. The closure is due to the expansion of drainage lines and construction of pumping main at the Diplomatic Area, in order to pump the sewer completely to the treatment plant and to pump the treated water for irrigation.
