The Criminal Investigation Department arrested an Asian man after he purchased several watches and gifts using counterfeit credit cards.

The department had received information from some sources about purchasing goods illegally with counterfeit credit cards. Following investigations the department could find out that the transactions were made by an Asian man.

A special investigation team was formed to follow up and arrest the suspect. The investigation team made necessary procedures to arrest the suspect. He was arrested with 47 fake credit cards, and an IPhone worth QR 4000 with him.

Following the interrogations he confessed to possessing the fake credit cards and attempting to purchasing goods that worth more than QR 30000, that duly failed.

The accused person was referred to the legal authorities for further procedures.
