Qatar Meteorology Department reported that a magnitude 5.7 earthquake that happened in Iran was felt on the eastern coast of Qatar. An earthquake hit Southern Iran in Fars province Tuesday night, June 9, 2020, and was felt in Qatar and Bahrain, at the other side of the Gulf, according to earthquake-report.com.
The preliminary earthquake report from the Iranian Seismological Center indicates that it was a 5.7 magnitude earthquake reported at 17:18:12 (Iran), which translates to 8:18 pm local time.
