DOHA: Macy Gray, the Grammy Award nominee, will perform at this year’s biggest party in Doha, The Global Party. Those lucky enough to be a ‘Key-2 Luxury’ member over the coming days will watch the 43-year-old perform some of her greatest hits including ‘I Try’ and ‘Still’ at the exclusive event. The singer has confirmed her attendance, making it the first time she will play in Qatar’s capital city, and will perform on September 15 at The Global Party to be held at The Royal Avenue at The Pearl-Qatar. Her successful career has spanned over a decade. The raspy-voiced singer’s latest album, The Sellout (2010), hit high in the US Billboard charts and was a well received comeback album. In the coming two weeks, hundreds of Doha’s elite will be gifted limited Key-2 Luxury membership, containing two silver key-rings. Not only do these key-rings represent an exclusive invite to The Global Party in Doha on September 15th, they will also act as a Key-2 Luxury life membership.
