A top delegation from the UK led by Alderman Nick Anstee, the 682nd Lord Mayor of the City of London will visit the Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies (QFIS) at Education City in the second week of February. As Lord Mayor, Anstee promotes the Square Mile as the world’s leading international financial and business centre, and his project is directed towards sponsoring the spread of financial literacy. His interests extend outside UK, and he has chosen QFIS, a member of Qatar Foundation, as a venue to collaborate with well known institutions in the region and build a long term relationship with academic bodies, said a QFIS statement yesterday.
