The Qatar Meteorology Department announced on 23 August 2023 that the last star of the Summer season, Al Tarf is to dawn on Thursday, 24 August 2023.

The star is expected to last a duration of 13 days. Being one of the last stars of the Summer, the end of the season and lower temperatures are expected in the coming days
