It’s the first week of the New Year ladies, and if your resolution has been to kick yourself into high gear for 2017 there’s no better place to let off of steam and burn those festive calories than Ladies’ Training Day. The fourth ladies-only event will be held at Losail International Circuit on Tuesday, January 10 starting from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with an evening’s worth of activities.
Ladies can come and exercise in privacy using Losail’s extensive facilities to cycle, walk, or run. Children are also welcome, with dedicated activities and play-zones for the little ones while Mom’s get in their work-out.
Also offered on ladies’ day are classes such as Zumba, specialist sessions with female health coaches and fitness professionals, and even some healthy treats and freshest offerings from some of Doha’s best local health-food retailers. There’s also an abaya and bag check-in station, and bikes will be supplied courtesy of Qatar Cyclist on a first-come, first-served basis – but they do recommend you bring your own bike and helmet just in case!
Ladies’ Training Day is held twice a month at Losail International Circuit and the best part – it’s free to attend! No men are allowed inside the track area and even its CCTV is monitored by an all-female staff.
Though dates are subject to change, upcoming Ladies’ Training Days are already planned out for the next six months from:
January 10 & 24, 2017
February 7 & 28, 2017
March 7, 2017
April 4 & 18, 2017
May 2 & 16, 2017
June 6 & 20, 2017
