We tried the new Italian restaurant, La Casa Twenty Eight, in Medina Centrale on The Pearl. We were greeted by friendly waiters outside and welcomed into a comfy atmosphere, similar to a cottage. The environment was filled with families, children, friends, and young folks alike.

They had live music and it was actually really good, surprisingly good, like we wanted to stick around after our meals and keep listening kinda good.

The food was moderately priced, with a couple of dishes being a little on the pricier side.

We enjoyed the food, but the Lasagna took first prize for us, as it had a legitimate homemade feel. It was nice to eat Lasagna that was light and felt like it came out your own kitchen. Yum!

The manager was super friendly and enjoyed making jokes, meanwhile the service was super fast and efficient – no waiting for our meals.

An all around very pleasant experience.
