The Amiri Diwan in an Instagram post announced that H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani received a written message from Saudi Arabia‘s King Salman Al-Saud.
The messages were delivered by Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Abdullah al-Saud, who met with the Amir at his office in Al Bahr Palace on 26 April 2021. The message includes an official invitation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Prince Faisal bin Abdullah al-Saud also met with H.E. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani. The Tweet by Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani confirmed that this was to review bilateral relations between the two countries as well as the strengthening of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ties.

These meetings come as part of the historic Al-Ula agreement and aim to further strengthen Qatar and Saudi's relationship.
