More than a thousand kids expressed their love towards nation at the National day kids pavilion in Hyatt Plaza shopping Mall

A host of activities including arts and crafts, National day photo corner and free face painting marked a memorable day for kids who chose to celebrate Qatar’s special day at Doha’s favorite family shopping destination. The activities took place in the specially decorated National Day celebrations Pavilion in Gate no. 03 at Hyatt Plaza shopping mall.

"Qatar National day is an occasion for all of us to commemorate our great achievements as a nation. Being a family shopping destination, we have focused on providing a memorable day for the families, especially for the kids to come forward and express their love for Qatar." Said Mr. Feroz Moideen, General Manager, Hyatt Plaza Shopping Mall. The arts and crafts venue provided an opportunity for the kids to draw or paint their love for Qatar, encouraging them to express their creative skills. Kid’s faces were all adorned with smiles when Jungle zone, the popular indoor theme park in Hyatt Plaza gifted free play credits to all the participants on the occasion of National day.

"This is a great effort from Hyatt Plaza. My kids love painting and I love taking their pictures. Now, we have got some wonderful pictures of my kids in Qatari costumes, and I am sure, someday they are going to love me for it" said Ms. Michelle, an English expat and a mother of two kids who celebrated their national day in Hyatt Plaza.

Providing Qatar National Day costumes for the kids to wear and snap photographs, the kid’s photo corner was well received by the excited parents who took the pictures of their children in celebratory costumes. Hyatt Plaza has also organized a National Day photo contest in Facebook, where parents can upload the pictures from the photo corner in Facebook. The winning entry is entitled to get Hadiya gift vouchers offered from Hyatt Plaza Shopping Mall.

The giant Arabic inspired watch towers at the celebrations venue along with the suspended Qatari Flags created a patriotic ambience across the kid’s pavilion. In line with the national day celebrations, the whole shopping mall was well decorated with huge Qatari flags all throughout the month.
