In collaboration with Qatar’s Embassy in London, QNB, the World’s Strongest Bank, will participate in the Student Career Fair to be held in the UK, on February 21st, &22nd, 2014. The event aims at providing Qatari students an insight about career opportunities awaiting them in their home land after graduation, while providing them with career consultancies during their visit to QNB’s stand at the fair.

QNB’s sponsorship and participation in the Student Career Fair, highlights its continued efforts and commitment to attract Qatari Students studying abroad, providing them with the best career opportunities in line with Qatar’s vision to support young promising Qataris through national organizations.

QNB group makes such career fairs as a priority and a must-go event to help young nationals access best practices within the group; in addition to a wide range of training and career programs across its network that covers 26 countries, among them the London Branch, that was the first international branch to provide Qatari nationals an interface to global expertise and on-job experience.

Human Capital Development is one of the most important focal points within QNB Group. Aligned with the country’s 2030 vision, which outlines a fully sustainable and diverse economic vision for the country’s future, QNB’s Human Capital Department seeks to enable all candidates to both evolve their talents to the highest professional standard and expand their knowledge base. The hope being that these acquired skills will allow the individuals to secure and fulfill important decision making roles within the Bank.

Qatari students visiting QNB stand at the fair will be able to submit their resumes, CV’s and applications to the staff who’ll be ready to provide them with briefings on the hiring process that involves personal interviews, career aptitude tests and assessing general business skills acumen

Another important consideration in participating at Qatari Nationals Career Fairs is the desire to enhance the state’s policy and strategy of “Qatarisation”. QNB’s current ratio in excess of 50% is considered amongst the highest in the Banking Sector and the Group aims to increase this level in the coming years through targeted efforts.
