Dr. Khalid Bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, Director General of the public Corporation for the Cultural Village of “Katara” that the village is not complete yet, and is still in the process of construction and preparation.
What is available on the ground is only the first phase, and will be followed by several stages, which include the establishment of a mall, in addition to a group of residential villas, hotels, and other facilities serving culture and tourism.
He added that the main stage we want to reach is the development and adoption of the Qatari intellectuals and creative people, in order to make “Katara” a real incubator of creativity, knowledge and excellence, and free thought, and a beacon of culture that responds effectively to the constantly changing world.
