A new startup founded this year, Jaldi — which means quick — offers a reliable way for users to book top-rated professionals, shows the progress of your bookings, and provides a rating system so that quality service can be maintained for other users. You can book services through Jaldi’s app, website or even their WhatsApp number!
The company was founded by Khalid Khan, Director of Redco International. Khan started Jaldi after being inspired by applications he used for home services in London. He saw a need for this kind of service in Qatar’s market.
“I feel I only grow as a person when I’m learning something and starting and running a business is a great way to learn about whatever business you’re about to start,” Khan said. “I’m constantly on the look for some new business I could implement because I feel myself grow through failures which is addictive. I knew I wanted to learn more about application development and running a tech business. Now, I’m learning about advertising which will inevitably benefit other aspects of my life. So the synergies are satisfying.”
