The Safety & Security Operations Committee (SSOC) of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 has stated in a Tweet that, in response to some video clips circulating on social media, an investigation into the destruction of some seats at a stadium hosting the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021™.

The video clips circulating on social media showed the destruction of seats. The committee has announced that legal action will be taken against the violators. Moreover, the SSOC has called on fans to show the importance of sportsmanship, abide by laws and preserve the sports facilities they frequent to encourage their teams and inspire them the required enthusiasm.
