International Astronomical Centre says Qatar will be safe from Chinese rocket debris

A huge chinese rocket booster called Long March 5B is currently in an uncontrolled descent. The rocket booster is expected to enter the Earth's atmosphere sometime late Saturday night (8 May 2021) or early Sunday morning (9 May 2021) local Qatar time. The 21 metric tons rocket booster is likely to fall into an uninhabited region of the world. (Space.com)

According to the latest updates by International Astronomy Center (IAC), 6 Arab countries are safe from falling debris on them, namely Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon and Yemen.

The IAC also mentioned that the debris of the Chinese rocket will pass four times tonight (8 May 2021) over the Arab world. The first is at 20:30 over the Arabian Gulf, the second at 22:03 over Egypt and the Levant, the third and fourth over North West Africa at 23:30 and 01:00 local Qatar time.
