In a Tweet, the Indonesian Embassy Doha has clarified that it has never opened or promised to open job vacancies for any position. It mentioned that the job listing which claims that the Indonesian Embassy on its career website has a vacancy to hire Security Officer in Qatar is fraudulent and urged the public to only follow and take news from official and trusted sources.

The fake advertisement said High School graduates can apply and after selection will receive a salary of QR 2,500 to be paid monthly.

The embassy announcement added that to avoid losses that may arise in the future, the public must always cross-check any information, especially on behalf of the Indonesian Embassy in Doha.
