Indian expatriate Liju John (30), who was seriously injured recently in a freak accident at a work site, died at a hospital yesterday. The accident took place about a fortnight ago. John, who had married only recently, was a native of Chettikulangara in Alappuzha district of Kerala, sources said. He had come to Doha a few years ago, they said. Arrangements are being made to send the body home. John was working as supervisor at a readymix firm, with its office in the Industrial Area.
