The Peninsula newspaper reported on 24 August 2022 that Indian cricketing star Virat Kohli had visited the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum during his one-day visit to Qatar on Tuesday, 23 August 2022.
Along with a museum tour by Museum Director Abdulla Yousuf Al Mulla, the cricketer was also presented with a personalized jersey by Qatar Cricket Association President Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saoud Al Thani.
Virat Kohli's stop in Qatar was while he was en route to UAE for the T20 Asia Cup that starts on 27 August 2022.
It was also reported that the Museum of Islamic Art and Aspetar were also visited by the cricketer.
