In a tweet by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC), it was announced that the Marine Protection Department has seized fishing nets in violation of the conditions near Al Aliyah Island and confiscated them.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change calls on fishermen to abide by environmental laws and conditions and not to use illegal fishing nets or to fish in prohibited areas near the islands or fachout.
