Holidays only got better for the kids, as they were visibly delighted to see their favorite cartoon characters spread Joy and excitement at Hyatt Plaza Shopping Mall Popular characters Dora the explorer, Shaun the sheep and Angry birds entertained the kids and their families with shows, games and activities as part of the sixteen days long Hyatt Plaza summer festival that started on Thursday 20th June, 2013.
As the only summer festival in Doha, Hyatt Plaza Summer festival was received by the customers with unprecedented enthusiasm. The festival took place at Hyatt Plaza, Qatar’s favorite family-oriented shopping mall which offers 74 local and international retail, entertainment, and food outlets, including ‘Geant’, Homes R Us, Pari Gallery, Highland, and Kiddy Zone.
Program kicked off with a welcome speech by Mr. Feroz Moideen, General Manager, Hyatt Plaza, who welcomed the audience and announced the official opening of Hyatt Plaza Summer Festival “We believe this event once again reflects our commitment towards providing more entertaining surprises for the families in Qatar. We are honored that our effort to provide a fun-filled shopping experience is well received by the people in Qatar.” said Mr. Feroz Moideen.
Hyatt Plaza summer festival features 13 popular cartoon characters in addition to stilt walkers and clowns. Activities were not limited to the food court. The lively parades by mascots around the mall were received with excitement by the kids and families alike. “I love Dora and I took a photograph with her, I am so happy” said the 8 years old, Aisha. Customers were given opportunity to take photographs with the cartoon characters during the parade.
