Shoppers at Hyatt Plaza can visit the interactive booth providing services of Hukoomi, Qatar's online gateway to the government, until June 23. The portal provides more than 290 services, including 56 e-services, and information on government entities, with more services and information planned.

The booth will allow people living and working in Qatar to find out more about how Hukoomi can make their life easier, faster, and more efficient.

Hukoomi representatives will be available at the booth to answer questions about the services and information at www.gov.qa, as well as offer shoppers one-on-one orientation of the website.

Nearly 15,000 consumers visited the Hukoomi portal during the last three months, and over 100,000 electronic transactions were completed through the online portal.

The total number of businesses using smart cards on Hukoomi nearly touched 4,000 in the same period. During May, nearly 4,000 online renewals of health cards took place.
