In the next one week, the temperature is expected to vary from 45 degrees Celsius to 48 degrees Celsius at the maximum as the country is passing through the hottest month of the year, says the Meteorology Department. “In Qatar, the highest temperature is experienced in the middle of June and it will start falling by the end of the month, with a rise in humidity levels,” a forecaster from the department told The Peninsula yesterday. He said the maximum temperature is not likely to cross 48 degrees Celsius this month.Yesterday was one of the hottest days of the month with the maximum temperature recorded at 47 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 32 degrees Celsius. The department has forecast a slight fall in temperature today likely settling at 45 degrees Celsius at the maximum.
