As the biking season peaks, a great mix of many nationalities represented in Qatar took advantage of the cool and sunny January weather last weekend. Both the young and the not-so-young were drawn to the adventure-of-the-day, enjoying the full range of Honda off-road motorbikes at Honda’s Fun Ride Day at Mesaieed. The full range of Honda quads and two wheel off-road bikes were made available for guests wanting to take a spin and try them out.
The gathering offered a chance for Honda bike owners to test new products and the event was also open for non-Honda riders to experience Honda bikes. With veteran and newbie riders meeting for some sun, sand and an enjoyable barbeque, the event attracted more than a hundred riders, families, and friends for the get-together.
The event organizers took great care with safety instructions and safety riding equipment for guests who wanted to get on the bikes. The day passed accident and injury-free thanks to preparation and responsible riding by all.
“Events like this are really great fun for us bikers to get together, have a ride and test new products. We appreciate the support from DOMASCO Honda. That is true even for a veteran rider like me” said Peter Cook, a rider with 45 years of experience.
“It was a pleasure to put this day together and we are planning to make this a regular activity for bikers during riding season. All riders are welcome to join us to share riding tips and expertise, plus experience the performance of Honda motorbikes in a safe, relaxed and informal environment” said DOMASCO- Honda Bikes team leader Richard Edwards.
