Doha, Qatar - The fourth annual Motorist Choice Awards recently scored 196 cars, crossovers and SUVs. The body recognizes new cars that give their owners both economic and emotional satisfaction, helping new-car buyers find vehicles that best satisfy all of their personal-transportation needs. The awards are given to top-ranking vehicles scoring in each of varied segments, as well as for the top-scoring brand. Honda cars won in 3 key segments: Best Economy Car (Honda Jazz), Best Minivan (Honda Odyssey) and Best Mid-Size Crossover SUV (Honda CRV). Put together by two respected automotive industry research firms, Intellichoice.com and Auto Pacific, the Motorist Choice Awards turns attention to the top 23 vehicles in the market that rewards their drivers with outstanding economic and emotional rewards over the time of ownership. Apart from the top awards in the 3 categories, Honda CRV also received the Highest Retained Value honor in the same category, while Honda Jazz took away the Best Overall Value of the Year for Compact Cars Under 1700, and Lowest Maintenance Cost winner in its class segment. “The recognition from Intellichoice and Auto Pacific further underlines the value-for-money proposition Honda has always stood for” said Greig Roffey, Marketing and Sales Manager of DOMASCO-Honda, Qatar. “It is also notable that the awards are from surveys of actual car owners based on product performance and their ownership experience. These honors are very much about what Honda is all about – satisfying both the heart and the mind - great product promises consistently delivered throughout our clients’ ownership lifetime” he concluded.
