Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) won the Enterprise Agility Achiever Award in Healthcare for 2014 at the inaugural Qatar Enterprise Agility Awards: Entrepreneur of the Year organized by Entrepreneur Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in association with Barclays.

The award was received by Mr. Ali Al Janahi, Chief of Business Services Group at HMC on behalf of Dr. Hanan Al Kuwari, PhD, Managing Director of HMC. Handing out the award was Qatar Chamber’s Vice-Chairman, Mohamed bin Ahmed bin Tawar Al Kuwari.

The Enterprise Agility Awards recognize and honor enterprise leaders and individuals who have distinguished themselves and demonstrated innovation and outstanding business conduct, and who have made significant economic and social contributions to Qatar.

“We are honored to receive the Enterprise Agility Achiever Award for Healthcare as it demonstrates the key role the organization has played in delivering high quality, compassionate healthcare to the people of Qatar,” said Dr. Al Kuwari.

Mr. Ali Abdulla Al Khater, HMC’s Executive Director of Corporate Communications; Mr. David Astley, HMC’s Chief of Tertiary Hospitals Group; and other HMC officials were also present at the awards ceremony held last week at Grand Hyatt Doha.
