Doha, 4 January, 2015: As part of its efforts to encourage Qatar’s young population to lead a healthy lifestyle, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) recently organized a health awareness exhibition at Tarik Bin Ziad Independent School for Boys.

Held under the theme: ‘Health is the Greatest Blessing’, the exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Hamad Mohamed Shabib Al Mannai, owner and principal of the school and Ms. Balqees Al Khazraji, Director of Health Professions Awareness and Volunteering Programs at HMC.

Ms. Al Khazraji said HMC is organizing health exhibitions in schools to educate young people about healthy living and prepare them physically, mentally and socially to become a generation of healthy people. She stressed that HMC is committed to raising awareness and providing health education for the public to ensure they take the preventative measures necessary to prevent illnesses, accidents and injuries.

Ms. Al Khazraji explained that the exhibition also served as a way to introduce the students to scholarship opportunities at HMC and other organizations within Qatar or abroad, as well as showcasing employment opportunities, voluntary work and training available in various sectors.

Mr. Al Mannai said that Tarik Bin Ziad Independent School for Boys is always encouraging its students to take up careers in medical professions. He thanked HMC for it efforts, encouragement and continuous support towards the school.
