Ahead of the camping season, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has opened a clinic in Sealine.

It will operate on a weekly basis from 3pm on Thursdays until 5pm on Saturdays. It is on a main road and close to the airstrip for easy transfer of patients in a serious condition to hospital.

Three 4x4 ambulances will be provided along with three ambulance units, and an emergency supervisor unit, including a advanced critical care paramedic team and a LifeFlight air ambulance unit.

Another two ambulances will be on standby throughout the week to serve as back-up support for the clinic. There will also be more 4x4 vehicles and an advanced ambulance unit for patients in a critical condition as well as three more ambulance units to serve the northern areas.

The opening ceremony of the clinic was attended by Mohammad Al Noimi, Representative of Dr Hanan Al Kuwari, Managing Director, HMC, and Ali Abdullah Al Khater, Executive Director, Corporate Communications Department, HMC, and Project Manager of the Sealine Hamad Medical Clinic.

Mohamed Al Dosri and Nasser Al Ishaq from the project team and Salim Qadri Al Yami, Supervisor, Sealine Reservation, were also present.

Al Khater said HMC would continue to provide excellent heathcare services through the clinic to all Sealine and Khor Odaid visitors and residents throughout the fifth camping season. He said the clinic had expanded capacity to include two additional emergency personnel from HMC Ambulance Service who will be available on site around the clock.
