DOHA: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced the Eid timings for pharmacies at various hospitals and departments under it.
The pharmacy service at Hamad General Hospital (HGH) out-patient department (OPD) will be open on November 5, 9 and 10 from 7am to 3pm. Pharmacy for Paediatric and Diabetic clinic at HGH will be closed during Eid holidays, and the patients can get medicines from HGH OPD pharmacy.
At Al Khor Hospital (AKH), the inpatient and the emergency pharmacy services will function 24X7 throughout Eid holidays. Pharmacy at Paediatric Emergency at AKH is open on all holiday days from 7am to 11pm. During the other hours, patients can approach AKH General Emergency for pharmacy service. Also, the pharmacies at inpatient and emergency departments in Women’s Hospital will be open on all days 24X7.
Inpatient pharmacy at Al Amal Hospital will be open on all days 24X7 during Eid holidays, while OPD pharmacy service will function at different times. On November 5 and 7, the OPD pharmacy will operate from 12 noon to 1pm, on November 8 and 9, it will function from 10am to 1pm and on November 10, the pharmacy service will be available from 7am to 3pm.
Pharmacy at Rumailah Hospital OPD will be closed on the first day of Eid Al Adha, while it will be open on all the other days from 8am to 1pm.
At Al Wakra Hospital, pharmacy service in inpatient and emergency will open on all days 24X7, though OPD pharmacy will remain closed during Eid holidays.
In the Heart Hospital, the OPD pharmacy will function for two hours between 1pm to 3pm from November 6 to 10. It will be closed on November 11 and 12, and the services will return to normal timing (7am to 3pm), from November 13.
