Hamad International Airport (HIA) will introduce a payment structure for its long-term car park by the end of the month. In a statement, HIA said passengers could pay either by cash or credit card at any of the booths upon their exit from the car park. But vehicles parked before paid parking is implemented will not be charged of any fee. HIA, however, asked vehicle owners to refrain from parking for more than 60 days to avoid facing any legal action from the airport management. “In parallel with the introduction of parking fees, HIA will be increasing services in its long-term car park,” the statement said.
