HH the Emir Shooting Championships closed the curtain on its 2012/2013 season on Saturday. The championship took place in the Lusail Shooting Club. Mohammed Abdul Mohsen came first in the 10 meter air rifle. His score was 575, the same score he achieved last season. In second place came Mohammed Soby and Mahmoud Abul Mohsen came in third. In the women’s competition, Anissa Saleh won first place, Zamzam Saleh in second and Noura Al Sulaita third in the fast and slow moving target. In trap shooting, Rashed Hamad won first place after a hard-fought duel with Ramy Hamad. Mohammed Al Kuwari came in third place. In women’s trap shooting, Khloud Al Khalaf won first place, Amna Al Abdullah and Nawal Al Khalaf came in second and third place respectively. Vitale won first place in the 50 meter air rifle three positions, followed by Ali Al Mahanadi in second place. President of the Qatar Shooting and Archery Association Mohammed Ali Al Maadeed congratulated all the winners and praised the Qatari shooters for their performances this season.
