For party animals in the city, New Year’s Eve will be made all the more exciting with one of the world’s top party brands, Hed Kandi, organising a global event at the Doha Sheraton Hotel with resident DJs to ring in 2009.
Party Director Jared “Master Jay” McCulloch said the New Year’s Eve party, which will simultaneously take place in 25 major cities in the world, “will surely set Doha ablaze with the world’s number one party brand.”
“The Hed Kandi Circus event, with its big top themed décor, will feature the most daring and unique champions of the dance floor in acts of apparent incredibility,” said McCulloch.
The party will feature Hed Kandi all stars and long running resident DJ Andy Warburton, Deeyana on saxophone, Qatar Hed Kandi and Global DJs resident DJ, Master J, and a very special guest DJ that will be announced on the night.
In London, the show will once again take place at indigO2 at the O2, which promises to be the “most glamorous show on earth”, according to the Hed Kandi’s website.
With over 1,000 party goers expected to come to the New Year’s Eve event, McCulloch said the show will be held at the Al Majalis Ballroom, which is perfect for this kind of night as everybody celebrates the global countdown to greet the Year of the Ox, 2009.
Ticket prices range from QR200 (regular) and QR300 (VIP). The tickets can be bought at Virgin Megastore or Crepaway. The doors will open at 9pm on December 31
