On the General Authority of Customs Twitter account, the Maritime Customs Administration, represented by Hamad Port Customs, has managed to thwart the smuggling of prohibited tobacco (marijuana), as announced on 15 July 2021. The contraband was hidden inside pomegranate boxes. The weight of the seized substance was 2738 kilos.
