A recent study of laboratory cultivation of plant tissue on improving methods of cultivation of tissues of date palm by Dr. Fateh Muhammad Mahdi said that the area planted date palm is about 1366 hectares with 335,765 fruit trees and 146,955 tree is fruitful, which is equivalent to 71% of the total area planted with fruit trees. The study that percentage is divided between the territories of the deep low-salinity nursery school in the north and the mid state, where the trees look best growth of trees planted in other areas characterized by shallow and saline lands.
