If you are looking for an Arabic setting, delectable food and sheesha, then Melia Doha’s Hala Ramadan Tent is where you should head to for Suhoor. The aesthetically decorated tent has private tents within it, making it a perfect venue for a family get togethers.

The Arabic singer elevates the ambiance and adds a relaxed feel. If sport is your thing, then you can also enjoy the UEFA EURO 2016 on the huge TV screen that has been set up within the tent.

The Hala Ramadan Tent is open from 7pm until 2am. Set menus for Suhoor starts at 9pm and there are two options; Suhoor set Menu 1 costs QR 140 per person and Suhoor set menu 2 costs QR 190.

A variety of refreshing Juices including Kamiridin, Karkade, Jalab and Vimto with dates and dry fruits, are served to quench your thirst and also compliment your food.

As we sat down, we were served with starters from the 'Selection of Cold' & 'Selection of Hot' sections from the Middle Eastern Mezzeh Menu. The Selection of Cold included Hummus, Moutabel, Tabuleh, Fatoush, Feta Cheese with Tomato, Pickles, Eggplant Yogurt, Kebet Patata, Jarjir Salad, Okra Salad, Olives Salad and Zaatar, and all tasted impressively delighting, making me wonder why haven't I been there earlier for the perfect taste.

The Hummus and Fatoush were by far the best Selection of Cold Starters. The Hummus was well blended into a fine paste with no chunks, Making it creamy and delicious. Whereas the Fatoush was topped with pomegranate seeds giving it a perfect blend of sweet and sour taste. The baked bread on the Fatoush were perfectly crispy and crunchy, giving the salad a good balance of crunchiness and juiciness.

From the Selection of Hot Starters, our personal favourite was the Grilled Halloumi Cheese, Sojouk, Kebbeh, Falafel with Tahina. The Grilled Halloumi Cheese was given the perfect heat making the cheese perfectly soft, tender, gooey and delicious. So for cheese lovers like me, you just might find your true love.

Is your mouth watering yet? Well, there is more to come.

For the main course we were served with Fattah Station with Tahina, Foul Modamas, Saj Station, Falafel, Shawarma Station, Hummus Al Sham, Egg Station and a selection of homemade Bread Rolls & Arabic Bread. All were cooked and served so extremely well that it literally got us salivating.

We Loved the Shawarma Station, Saj Station and the Hummus Al Sham with the homemade Bread Rolls. They belonged to different cuisines but combined perfectly, taking your tastebuds on the perfect roller coaster that they have been missing, for sure.

The Saj Station is basically an Arabic form of Pizza, thin bread filled with either assorted cheese, zaatar, labneh or turkey ham & cheese. The presentation and the taste was so fine and well, that you would wish to try it all over again.

The Shawarma Station is the perfect Arabic food that you would love to try out in the Tent. The perfectly sized shawarma slices had the perfect balance of everything that you would ever want in the shawarma of your dreams.

They also have a dessert buffet which has a variety of sweets and fruits. From Arabic sweets to western delights, and tropical fruits. A wide range, isn't it? Lastly, for everyone who loves the taste of Arabic cuisine, drinks, and desserts, they provide a special table serving "Gahwa" Arabic Coffee to refresh yourself and relieve the stress from your shoulders.
