Customers of Qtel’s prepaid mobile phone service are set to benefit from more attractive tariffs with the company going to revamp it in a major way. Qtel revealed yesterday it is in the final stages of the revamp of the Hala service. The "newly energised" Hala service will be unveiled in November. "Hala has been hugely popular since its launch in 2000 and, by 'energising' this service we will be offering more choice and greater value to our customers," Adel Al Mutawa, Executive Director of Group Communications in Qtel said yesterday. Based on customers' feedback and ongoing discussion with the telecommunications regulatory authority, ictQATAR, the company is "primed to deliver a radical reworking of the popular service that will provide more value for money for both new and existing customers, as well as a host of new features and benefits," Mutawa said.
