H.H. The Amir issues decree to appoint new ministers in Qatar

The Amir H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued on Sunday Amiri Decree No. 7 of 2018 restructuring the Council of Ministers, reported QNA. The order states that:

1. H E Dr Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi will be the new Minister of Justice.

2. H E Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie is the new Minister of Municipality and Environment.

3. H E Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari is the new Minister of Trade and Industry.

4. H E Yousef Bin Mohammed Al-Othman Fakhro is the Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs.

5. H E Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi is the new Minister of State for Energy Affairs, Member of the Council of Ministers.

In addition to his duties, H E Dr Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, is entrusted with the work of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs.

The Amiri order annulled any provision contrary to its provisions.The order was to be implemented from the date of its issuance and published in the Official Gazette.

H.H. The Emir of Qatar has also decided to reshape the boards of national energy company Qatar Petroleum and the country's sovereign wealth fund, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA).
