His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and His Royal Highness Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a talks session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.

At the beginning of the session, H.R.H. the Crown Prince welcomed H.H. the Amir and the accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, conveying the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. For his part, H.H. the Amir expressed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The session dealt with discussing brotherly bilateral relations and the means to enhance them in different fields, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international issues, particularly developments in the region. It was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying H.H. the Amir.

H.H. the Amir attended a Sohoor banquet held by H.R.H the Crown Prince in honor of His Highness and the accompanying delegation.

H.H. the Amir and the accompanying delegation were then seen off at King Abdulaziz International Airport by H.R.H. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman before they left Jeddah at dawn today after an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and returned to Doha.

H.H. the Amir also sent a message to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and H.R.H. Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, expressing his appreciation for the hospitality accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit, which provided a good opportunity to discuss the issues of concern to the two countries, in addition to ways to support and strengthen fraternal relations between the two countries in various fields for the benefit and interest of the two peoples, asking God to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and H.R.H. Crown Prince, to enjoy good health and wellness, and bring to the brotherly Saudi people more progress and prosperity.

His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani will head to the city of Jeddah on 10 May 2021 for an official visit to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

During the visit, H.H. the Amir will hold talks with Saudi's Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, on the brotherly relations between the two brotherly countries and regional and international issues of common interest. His Highness the Amir will be accompanied by an official delegation.

Previously, the Amiri Diwan in an Instagram post announced that H.H. the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani received a written message from Saudi Arabia‘s King Salman Al-Saud. The messages were delivered by Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Abdullah al-Saud, who met with the Amir at his office in Al Bahr Palace on 26 April 2021. The message includes an official invitation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
