Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), on Thursday visited the 29th Doha International Book Fair.
The fair is currently being held under the theme "Doha, A City of Knowledge and Conscience", in Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Sheikha Moza toured the pavilions of the government entities, cultural sector and Arab and international publishing houses that are participating at the fair.
She visited a number of local publishing houses such as Roza publishing house, Lusail publishing and Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press and Al Reyada Girls Centre.
Sheikha Moza also saw some of the activities and events associated with the exhibition, notably the children's theater.
Sheikha Moza was accompanied by H.E. the Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Naser al-Ali.
Doha International Book Fair, organised by the Ministry of Culture and Sports will run until tomorrow. Some 427 publishing houses from 30 Arab and foreign countries are participating in the fair.
