Guinness World Record Largest Tamim Al Majd image will cover an island in Doha

A group of students from College of North Atlantic - Qatar (CNA-Q) will launch the largest printed poster of Tamim Al-Majd image on Friday (December 29), that has entered the Guinness Book of Records.

The size of the photo will be 16,000sqm breaking the previous record of 15,000sqm set by Switzerland.

People are invited to see the image on Friday and Saturday from 4 pm to 10 pm on an island near the Ritz-Carlton Doha, which is owned by Katara Hospitality.

The idea, which came from Faisal Saif Al Muhannadi, a student of CNA-Q, is to prepare the largest image of Emir H H Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, with a size of 16,000sqm. It is made of Banner Flex Paper 610 gm, which is 128 meters high and 125 meters wide

Al Muhannadi explained that the painting consists of 104 pieces, each of which is 36 meters high and 5 meters wide. It will take eight days of continuous work to install the image on the ground at a height of 50cm. (Source)
