The Ministry of Municipality and Environment's Agricultural Affairs Department has distributed 72 greenhouses among 24 producing farms in an effort to incentivize their farm owners as part of a project to provide registered farms with services.
Additionally, the Department deployed 6,010 seedboxes to 435 farms and ploughed 13,600 donum across 435 farms to prime the soil for cropping.
Further, the Department conducted 788 field visits and 696 field examinations in May and June.
